The establishment of a branch office as an inspection expert or inspection expert in the Federal Republic of Germany requires the approval of the accreditation authority.

The application must be accompanied by the evidence required for approval, in particular information on

1. the responsibility for the activity in the branch office

2. the employees who are to be involved in the inspection activity

3. as well as on ensuring the supervision of proper construction work.

If you want to set up a branch office, you must fulfill all the requirements that are also necessary for a main branch office.

These include

• A room is available for each branch office where you can practice your profession
• You or a representative can be contacted at each branch office
• You can carry out your duties as an expert
• Supervision by the respective chamber is ensured

Fees according to tariff item 7.4.4 of the Brandenburg Building Fee Regulations - €50

• The application for approval to establish a branch office must be submitted to the recognition authority for inspection experts.

• Submission of proof of the approval requirements.

• Examination of the approval requirements by the recognition authority.

• Approval by decision, if necessary in agreement with another federal state if the branch office applied for is located in this state.

As a rule, the branch office of the expert(s) is recorded and published within 5 working days.
