You can renew your driver's licenses for classes C, CE, C1, C1E for five 5-year periods upon application.
Your class C, CE, C1 or C1E driving license is valid for a maximum of 5 years. After that, you can apply to extend your driver's license for another 5 years.

- proof of physical and mental fitness (not older than 1 year)
- The fee is based on the Fee Regulations for Road Traffic Measures (GebOSt).
- If the driver's license is sent directly to the home address, an additional shipping fee will be charged.
