Berufliches Gymnasium Aufnahme

In the vocational grammar school, young people have the opportunity to acquire the Abitur.

The Berufliche Gymnasium comprises grades 11 to 13 and is located at an Oberstufenzentrum (OSZ). At the vocational grammar schools, the general higher education entrance qualification with a vocationally oriented focus can be acquired. These focal points are social welfare, technology and economics. Accordingly, the following subjects can be taken:

• Pedagogy and psychology in a job-oriented form in the focus on social work,
• Electrical engineering, design and media technology or mechanical engineering with a focus on technology and
• Economics in a job-oriented form as well as business informatics in the focus on economics.

The upper secondary school at the Berufliche Gymnasium is divided into a one-year introductory phase (grade 11) and a two-year qualification phase (grades 12 and 13).

Entitlement to attend the upper secondary school (Fachoberschulreife with qualification note)

Registration for upper secondary schools at vocational grammar schools at upper school centres (OSZ): in February (concrete dates are published annually) at the school attended in grade 10.

Admission will be communicated before the start of the school year.

Upon admission to the Vocational Gymnasium, it is possible to acquire the Abitur (the general higher education entrance qualification).
