At the Abendgymnasium, adults have the opportunity to take the Abitur.

Admission to the course for the subsequent acquisition of the general higher education entrance qualification in the second educational pathway offers the opportunity to acquire the Abitur (general higher education entrance qualification).

• Certificate with proof of secondary school leaving certificate/technical secondary school leaving certificate
• Proof of completed vocational training or at least two years of professional experience

Admission to the course for the subsequent acquisition of the general higher education entrance qualification is open to anyone who

• are at least 19 years old,
• have completed vocational training or at least two years of professional activity or comparable activity and
• can provide proof of a secondary school leaving certificate/technical secondary school leaving certificate or an equivalent qualification or have successfully completed a preliminary course lasting at least one semester.

A comparable activity is, in particular, running a family household. Unemployment proven by a certificate from the employment agency can be counted towards the required period of employment. Only those who are not in employment will be admitted to the full-time form.

Applications for admission must generally be submitted to the school by the end of the previous school year
