Are you studying at a university or are you planning to do so? Do you have excellent school and academic performance and are you still involved on the side? Then you can be selected for the Germany Scholarship.

Students of all nationalities can apply for a Germany Scholarship. The funding is intended in particular for talented and high-achieving applicants, but also for students in advanced semesters.

In addition to school achievements, social and societal commitment as well as special personal achievements should be taken into account.

The scholarship is paid independently of other benefits, such as BAföG or the income of the parents. Unlike other benefits, the scholarship does not need to be repaid. The scholarship holders are supported with a monthly contribution of EUR 300.00.

The scholarship is financed in equal parts by funds from the federal government and private sponsors, especially from industry. The aim is to establish a new scholarship and funding culture in Germany.

• Among other things, the following are taken into account:

• Your grades from the university entrance qualification or achievements already made in your studies.
• Your involvement in associations, politics or churches.
• Your private environment, such as special biographical obstacles, the upbringing of your own children or the care of relatives as well as your involvement in your parents' business.
• When awarding the Deutschlandstipendium, it is not only your academic achievements that count, your entire personality should be included here.
• If you have not yet received material support from a scholarship organization for gifted students that exceeds EUR 30.00 per month, you can apply for the Deutschlandstipendium.

You apply according to the tender specifications of your university.

Your university organises the selection process.

The selection committee of your university decides on the award.

The Deutschlandstipendium is granted for at least two semesters.

For the next academic year, your university will check again whether all eligibility criteria have been met and whether private funds are still available.
