Vocational Training Act (BBiG)
If you complete training in a recognised training occupation in accordance with the Vocational Training Act (BBiG), you will receive a final examination at the end of your training. The final examination is conducted by the competent body (usually a chamber).
In order to take part in the final examination, you must be admitted to the examination by the competent authority. Details of the subject matter and procedures of the examination can be found in the respective training regulations and the examination regulations of the competent authority.
After passing the examination, you will receive an examination certificate from the competent authority. You can request that the result of the vocational school achievements is also listed on the certificate. An English and a French translation will also be attached to your certificate upon request.
The competent authority decides on admission to the final examination. The examination shall be accepted by an examination board set up by the competent authority.
