Show first-time activity of an external architectural firm in Brandenburg

Companies that are not entered in a register of companies of a Chamber of Architects in the Federal Republic of Germany (foreign companies) may use the professional titles, word combinations or similar professional titles specified in § 1 in their company or name if they are authorized to use these or comparable professional titles in their company or name under the law of their country of origin. The companies must notify the Chamber of Architects in advance of the first provision of services

• Publicly certified, i.e. notarized copy of the articles of association or partnership agreement in which the requirements of Section 7 (2) sentence 1 BbgArchG are regulated, in the case of partnerships only Section 7;
• Proof of the existence of professional liability insurance that meets the minimum requirements of Section 10 BbgArchG (the proof must expressly state that the company itself is the policyholder);
• Proof of authorization to use the professional title;
• List of all shareholders with details of their respective professional affiliation;
• Copy of payment slip for the fee payment

• Entry in a special register at the Brandenburg Chamber of Architects takes place on the basis of notification of the commencement of activities if the company provides evidence of the existence of liability insurance and the professional obligations applicable to members of the profession in accordance with Section 25 of the Brandenburg Architects Act are observed by the company. The Chamber of Architects shall prohibit such partnerships or companies from using the professional title if they fail to provide evidence on request that
• they, their partners or their shareholders or legal representatives lawfully carry out the activity in question in accordance with the law of the company's country of origin and
• the partnership or company agreement or the articles of association fulfill the requirements pursuant to § 8 or § 9 para. 2 nos. 1 to 8 and that sufficient liability insurance exists for their activities in the state of Brandenburg.

• Inclusion in the special register does not make the company a member of the Chamber of Architects. Foreign partnerships or companies must notify the Chamber of Architects before providing services in the State of Brandenburg for the first time.

• List of partnerships: for the duration of registration and beyond 5 years after deletion
• Minimum sums insured: 1,500,000 euros for personal injury and 250,000 euros for property damage and financial loss

• The Chamber of Architects does not provide forms for external companies on the Internet.
• The decision is made by the Registration Committee of the Chamber of Architects.
• The procedure for notifying the commencement of activities can also be handled by the Single Point of Contact within the meaning of the Act on the Single Point of Contact for the State of Brandenburg as a single body within the meaning of Sections 71a to 71e of the Administrative Procedure Act.
