What is the procedure for granting the status of a state-approved supplementary school?

The ministry responsible for schools may, at the request of the school authority, grant the status of a state-recognised supplementary school to a supplementary school in which there is a public interest, provided that it provides instruction in accordance with a framework curriculum approved by the ministry and the final examination is conducted in accordance with a correspondingly approved examination regulation.

• There must be a public interest in the recognition of your supplementary school.
• Instruction must be provided according to a framework curriculum approved by the competent ministry.
• The final examination must be carried out in accordance with examination regulations approved by the competent ministry.
• The education must be comparable to that of a public school.
• The teachers must have professional and pedagogical qualifications.
• The possibility of a representative of the competent ministry participating in the final audit must be ensured.
