Ausbildungsbetrieb für Luftfahrer: Erlaubnis

For the training of pilots you need a permit.

Authorisation shall be refused if facts justify the assumption that public security or public order may be endangered or if the applicant or his trainers are personally unsuitable; if such facts arise later, the permission must be revoked.

The practical training of pilots may only be carried out by persons who have a teaching qualification in accordance with the Ordinance on Aviation Personnel (flight instructors).

The permit may be subject to conditions and limited in time. It can be revoked if it has not been used for more than one year.

Application for permission or registration according to § 32 Luftverkehrs-Zulassungsordnung (LuftVZO)

The responsibility lies with the Federal Aviation Office (LBA) and the Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport, branches Wolfenbüttel and Oldenburg.
