The delivery time for a passport is usually 3 to 4 weeks.

If the passport is required earlier, an express passport can be applied for. The only special feature is the shorter delivery time. The express passport is an unrestrictedly valid document.

- current biometric photo, in passport format (45 x 35 mm) in portrait format, frontal photo without border, without headgear and without covering the eyes

- Previous passport, if applicable

- identity card, if the applicant does not have a passport

- last current civil status certificate if no document has yet been issued by the municipality, joint municipality or town in which the main place of residence is located

The express passport is usually ready for collection six days after application.
