Steuerliche Lebensbescheinigung: Ausstellung

A tax life certificate was required by the end of 2010 in order to register a child allowance on the tax card for a child who did not live in the taxpayer's household.
Due to the introduction of the electronic tax card in 2011 and changes in the legal basis, the presentation of a tax life certificate is no longer necessary, which is therefore no longer issued by the competent authority.

Further information:

• copy of the acknowledgement of paternity,
• copy of the child's birth certificate ,
• copy of the marriage certificate (if the child is registered) or
• Copy of another official document proving first-degree kinship with the child.

There are no fees.

The processing usually takes place immediately. The certificate is valid for three years.

The responsibility lies with the municipality, the Joint Community and the city in which the main or sole residence is located.
