Information and advice on energy saving can be obtained from the competent authority. This advises on a variety of savings possibilities for the areas of electricity, water and heating.

The energy consultation offers the choice between an inpatient consultation in a counselling centre nearby, a short telephone consultation or a free online consultation by e-mail.

Documents may be required. Please contact the competent authority.

• Telephone advice: costs for the telephone call
• Consultation by e-mail: free of charge

There are no deadlines to be observed.

The energy consulting of the competent body is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology on the basis of a resolution of the German Bundestag

The responsibility lies with the Verbraucherzentrale Energieberatung.
