Beantragen von Zuwendungen zur Förderung der Verbesserung der Verarbeitung und Vermarktung von Fischerei- und Aquakulturerzeugnisse

The state of Lower Saxony provides funding to promote the marketing, improvement of quality and added value of fishery and aquaculture products and the processing of these products.

The federal state of Lower Saxony provides funding from the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF) as well as from the federal state of Lower Saxony and the federal government to promote the marketing, improvement of quality and added value of fishery and aquaculture products and the processing of these products.

Funding is only granted for projects that are in line with the German program for the EMFAF 2021-2027.

You will receive funding for

• investments in the processing of fishery and aquaculture products that contribute, among other things, to reducing energy consumption, improving occupational safety and improving products that contribute to improving traceability and consumer information
• the establishment or expansion of direct marketing of fishery and aquaculture products
• the development of product, process and marketing innovations for fishery and aquaculture products,
• the collective development or further development of traceability and quality assurance systems, and
• investments in improving the infrastructure of fishing ports, especially for projects that improve occupational safety and land safety.

You will receive the funding as a grant.

The amount of the grant depends on the type of project.

• Completed application form
• Project description
• Balance sheets and profit and loss account for the last 3 years
• Detailed financing plan
• Profitability analysis
• Offers to check the plausibility of the expenditure

• The fisheries or aquaculture company that is the recipient of the grant or a participating partner must be based in Lower Saxony. The investments must take place in Lower Saxony.
• The threshold values for eligible expenditure in accordance with No. 5.6 of the funding guidelines must be complied with
• Grant recipients must fulfill the characteristics of an SME (small and medium-sized enterprise) within the meaning of Recommendation 2003/361/EC
• Beneficiaries are companies involved in the trade, processing and treatment of fishery and aquaculture products, direct marketers of such products and producer associations for fishery products with a permanent establishment in Lower Saxony.

There are no costs.

• You apply for funding by submitting all relevant documents to the LWK
• The granting authority decides whether to approve your application and issues a grant notification
• Once proof of use has been submitted, the eligible expenditure is determined by means of an assessment notice.
• The grant will be paid out after submission of an application for payment

The processing time varies depending on the scope and type of funding.

Deadlines for the applicant only arise from the grant notification.
