3. Proof that the inspection, maintenance, testing or repair of the X-ray equipment has the equipment and the measures required by the state of the art to ensure compliance with the safety rules
4. Proof that the number of radiation protection officers necessary for the safe inspection, testing, maintenance or repair has been appointed and that they have been granted the powers necessary for the performance of their duties
They may inspect, test, maintain or repair the X-ray equipment or interfering emitters or inspect or test X-ray equipment and interfering emitters in connection with their manufacture, unless prohibited by the competent authority. You may be prohibited from engaging in these activities if:
1. There are facts from which doubts arise as to the reliability of the person responsible for radiation protection or the radiation protection officer
2. Requirements to be proven are not or no longer fulfilled
3. there are facts which give rise to doubts as to the availability of the necessary staff to carry out the work safely
The fee is calculated according to the time spent, but is at least 150 euros.
- Before commencing any activity (inspection, testing, maintenance, repair), all the necessary evidence must be provided by the competent authority.
- You can submit the evidence by post to the competent authority with the notification.
- If the competent authority does not object to the evidence you have submitted, you can start the activity.
For the first time, you must report your activity in the federal state where your company is located. If you work or want to work in other federal states, you must inform the competent local authority.
