If you would like to receive information about a monument, you can apply to the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments.

The cultural monuments protected under the Monument Protection Act are recorded in a list of cultural monuments.

If you would like to receive information about a monument, you must apply to the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments. If it is a movable monument or an accessory to a monument, you must prove that you are authorized to receive the information. You must either be the owner, an authorized representative or a person entitled in rem. In the case of historical monuments and architectural and ground monuments, all applicants can obtain information.

After checking any necessary documents and evidence, you will receive the requested information from the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments. In certain cases, information may be refused.

• Power of attorney, if applicable
• Proof of ownership, if applicable
• Proof of authorization in rem, if applicable

• If you wish to submit this application for a movable monument or for accessories to monuments, you must be the owner, authorized representative or person entitled in rem
• Anyone can submit the application for architectural and ground monuments as well as monuments of geological history

• You complete the application and submit it with the necessary documents, if applicable.
• The application and the documents will be checked for completeness.
• The type of monument you wish to obtain information about will be checked and any necessary documents will be reviewed.
• If you are entitled to receive information on a monument, this will be issued by the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments.
