§ Section 7 of the Lower Saxony Act on the Implementation of the Act on Psychosocial Trial Support in Criminal Proceedings (Nds. AG PsychPbG) of December 15, 2016
Duties of the recognized psychosocial trial counselors
Anyone who is recognized as a psychosocial court monitor in accordance with Section 1 must
1. ensure that he or she is aware of the assistance available locally for injured persons
2. undergo regular further training in order to
a) ensure that he or she is aware of important developments and changes in the specialist areas that are part of the initial and further training to become a psychosocial court support worker in accordance with Section 8 (2), and
b) to refresh and further develop the skills and competences that constitute the necessary personal qualification pursuant to Section 1 (1) No. 4,
3. to inform the competent body if a prerequisite for recognition no longer exists, and
4. to prove to the competent body on request that
a) the conditions for recognition pursuant to Section 1 (1) are still met and
b) the obligations under numbers 1 and 2 are fulfilled.
