An accident in which a person has been killed or seriously injured must be reported to the competent authority without delay.
The notification must contain the following information:
- Personal details,
- their area of work,
- Descriptions of the course of the accident
- Use of work equipment Accident report
- Reporting of people who have died or are seriously injured
- Viewing is free of charge and can be done online
Responsibility for occupational health and safety lies with the State Labour Inspectorates.
Responsibility lies with the State Office for Mining, Energy and Geology if the accident occurs in connection with work equipment used within the framework of the Federal Mining Act, the Gas High-Pressure Pipeline Ordinance, the Pipeline Ordinance or the Carbon Dioxide Storage Act.
