From 31 December 2020, there will be an obligation for commercial users of systems/devices with non-ionising radiation if they are used for cosmetic and other non-medical purposes on humans (e.g. laser, intense light, radio frequency, electrostimulation, ultrasound).
Exclusively medically used systems, such as ultrasound devices in the doctor's office, do not have to be displayed.
The operator must notify the competent body of the operation of the plant at least two weeks before commissioning.
If a plant is already in operation on 31 December 2020, it must be notified by 31 March 2021.
