For the operation of shooting ranges, where shooting is carried out in closed rooms exclusively for the purpose of testing weapons or ammunition, there is no obligation to obtain a permit, but only a written obligation to notify.

• Proof of reliability according to § 5 Waffengesetz (WaffG)
• Proof of personal suitability according to § 6 WaffG
• Proof of insurance against liability for damages resulting from the operation of the shooting range in the amount required by law
