Please note: From 1 January 2024, it will no longer be possible to apply for a children's passport. Children under the age of 12 also need a regular passport if they plan to travel outside the European Union. The previously available children's passport will no longer be available from 1 January 2024. Children's passports issued before this date remain valid until the expiry date.
The children's passport is available at the competent office where it was applied for.
The child must be present when applying for the child's passport for the purpose of identity verification. If it cannot be present, only a provisional document will be issued for the time being.
