The competent authority may, upon request, authorise professionals who, because of old age or physical suffering, renounce the rights conferred by appointment and no longer pursue a professional activity, to continue to use the professional title.

Fees are charged in accordance with the scale of fees of the competent authority.

Deadlines may have to be observed. Please contact the competent authority.

Members of the profession who renounce the rights arising from the appointment and who no longer exercise any professional activity may, upon application, continue to use the professional title.

The responsibility lies with the Chamber of Auditors.

This procedure can also be carried out through a "Point of Single Contact". The "Point of Single Contact" is a special service offered by municipalities and the state for service providers.
