Interstate Treaty on the Broadcasting Contribution (RBeitrStV)

If the obligation to pay the broadcasting fee ceases to apply to you, you should report this to the competent authority.

• The obligation to pay the broadcasting fee does not apply if you:
  • live as a cohabitation or other resident in an apartment and have paid several broadcasting fees so far.
  • move into an apartment for which broadcasting fees are already paid.
  • are entitled to exemption for certain social or health reasons.

The obligation to contribute ends at the end of the month in which the owner of the dwelling by the contributor ends. However, not before the end of the month in which this was notified.

If the obligation to pay the broadcasting fee ceases to apply, it should be reported.
