There are 43 addiction counseling centers and 16 branch offices in Rhineland-Palatinate. Trained and experienced counselors, social workers and psychologists work there. You can turn to these centers as a person directly affected, as a relative or as a parent. Some of these advice centres specialize in addictions to certain addictive substances or also offer services for behaviour-related addictions (e.g. gambling addiction, internet addiction).

Counseling is free of charge and can be anonymous if desired. The specialists are obliged to maintain confidentiality. Professionals in drug counseling centers have the right to refuse to testify.

In addition to on-site counseling, you can also receive advice and support digitally, for example via the online counseling platform "DigiSucht". Appointments can be made by telephone or via "DigiSucht".

There are also counseling teachers for addiction prevention at schools. These are teachers who have the task of helping pupils with drug and addiction problems. They can help with the selection of suitable offers and provide support in finding a way out of addiction.
