Are you blind or have very poor eyesight? Then you can apply for income-independent assistance for the blind.
Blind, severely visually impaired people can receive assistance for the blind depending on their income and assets.
From 1 July 2023, assistance for the blind will be 841.77 euros for blind people after the age of 18 and 421.61 euros for blind people who have not yet reached the age of 18.
Civilly blind persons with habitual residence in Rhineland-Palatinate are entitled to state blind allowance in accordance with the Rhineland-Palatinate State Blind Allowance Act.
