§ 15 (1) - (7) and § 16 of the Federal Hunting Act (BJagdG)

If the validity of your day hunting licence for foreign youth falconers expires or has already expired and you wish to continue hunting, you must have it extended.

If you would like to practice pickling in Germany, but you are not yet 18 years old, you can only be issued a youth falconer hunting licence in your name. If you are already in possession of a day hunting licence for foreign youth falconers, but its validity has expired, you can apply for an extension.

• Consent of the person with custody

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.

If you submit the application in writing, fill it out and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.

The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.

If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a foreigner youth falconer hunting license.

The day hunting license is valid for 14 consecutive days.

The youth hunting licence only entitles you to hunt accompanied by a person with custody or a supervisor commissioned in writing by the person with custody. The accompanying person must be experienced in hunting.

The youth hunting license does not entitle you to participate in group hunts.
