If the validity of your annual hunting licence for young people expires or has already expired and you wish to continue hunting, you must have it extended.
If you want to hunt in Germany, but you are not yet 18 years old, you can only be issued a youth hunting license in your name. If you are already in possession of an annual hunting licence for young people, but its validity has expired, you can apply for an extension.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.
If you submit the application in writing, fill it out and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.
The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.
If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a youth hunting license.
The annual hunting licence for young people is valid for a maximum of two consecutive hunting years. The hunting year begins on 01/04 and ends on 31/03.
The youth hunting licence only entitles you to hunt accompanied by a person with custody or a supervisor commissioned in writing by the person with custody. The accompanying person must be experienced in hunting.
The youth hunting license does not entitle you to participate in group hunts.
