If you want to hunt in Germany as a foreigner and you have not passed a German hunter's exam, you must carry a foreigner hunting license in your name. You must apply for this.
If you are a foreign citizen and would like to hunt in Germany, you will need a German hunting licence in your name. If you do not provide proof of a German hunter's examination, you can only apply for a day hunting license for foreigners.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.
If you submit the application in writing, fill it out and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.
The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.
If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a foreigner hunting license.
The annual hunting licence must be presented to the hunting protection officers and police officers on request.
