If, as a foreigner, you want to practice the so-called pickling hunt in Germany and you have not passed a German falconry examination, you must carry a foreigner falconer hunting licence in your name.
If you are a foreign citizen and would like to hunt with falcons and griffins in Germany, you will need a German falconry licence and hunting licence in your name. If you do not provide proof of a German falconer and hunter examination, you can apply for annual hunting licenses for foreigners under certain conditions.

If you submit the application in writing, fill it out and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.
The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.
If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a foreigner falconer hunting license.
The annual hunting licence is valid for a maximum of three consecutive hunting years. The hunting year begins on 01/04 and ends on 31/03.
