If the validity of your annual hunting license for foreigners expires or has already expired and you wish to continue hunting, you must have it extended.
If you want to hunt in Germany, you need a German hunting license in your name. If you are already in possession of an annual hunting licence for foreigners, but its validity has expired, you can apply for an extension.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.
If you submit the application in writing, fill it out and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.
The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.
If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a foreigner hunting license.
The annual hunting licence is valid for a maximum of three consecutive hunting years. The hunting year begins on 01/04 and ends on 31/03.
