If your youth falconry licence has been withdrawn by the issuing authority, you can apply for it again after expiry of the specified embargo period.

If you wish to hunt pickling in Germany, but you are not yet 18 years old, you can only be issued with a youth falconry hunting licence in your name. If your annual hunting licence has been withdrawn, you can apply for it again after expiry of the specified blocking period at the authority responsible for your place of residence.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.

If you submit the application in writing, fill it in and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.

The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.

If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a youth falconry hunting license.

The annual hunting licence for juveniles is valid for a maximum of two consecutive hunting years. The hunting year starts on 01.04. and ends on 31.03.

• The youth hunting license only entitles you to hunt accompanied by a person with custody or a supervisor appointed in writing by the person with custody. The accompanying person must be experienced in hunting.
• The youth hunting license does not entitle you to participate in party hunts.
