If your youth falconry licence has been withdrawn by the issuing authority, you can apply for it again after expiry of the specified embargo period.

If you would like to hunt for pickling in Germany, but you are not yet 18 years old, you can only be issued with a youth falconry hunting licence in your name. If your day hunting licence has been withdrawn, you can apply for it again at the competent authority after expiry of the specified blocking period.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.

If you submit the application in writing, fill it in and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.

The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.

If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a youth falconry hunting license.

The day hunting licence is valid for 14 consecutive days.

• The youth hunting license only entitles you to hunt accompanied by a person with custody or a supervisor appointed in writing by the person with custody. The accompanying person must be experienced in hunting.
• The youth hunting license does not entitle you to participate in party hunts.
