If you wish to hunt as a juvenile, you must carry a youth hunting licence in your name and present it to the police officers and those entitled to hunt on request.
If you want to hunt in Germany, but you are not yet 18 years old, you can only be issued a youth hunting license in your name (minimum age 16 years). For the first issuance of a youth hunting license, you need proof of a hunter's examination passed in Germany.
With a youth hunting license, you may only hunt if accompanied by a custody holder with hunting experience or a supervised person with hunting experience commissioned in writing by your person(s) with custody.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.
If you submit the application in writing, fill it in and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.
The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.
If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a youth hunting license.
The annual hunting licence shall be valid for a maximum of two consecutive hunting years. The hunting year starts on 01.04. and ends on 31.03.
