Are you 18 to 21 years old and in a difficult situation? Then there are various forms of help available for young adults like you. The youth welfare office will support you.
Assistance for young adults includes various services. It consists of independent assistance for 18 to 21-year-olds as well as continued assistance for over 21-year-olds and aftercare.
As a rule, assistance is only granted until the age of 21; in justified individual cases, it may be continued for a limited period beyond this age.
Assistance is granted if it is necessary due to the young person's individual situation to help them develop their personality and lead an independent life.
Documents may be required. Any documents to be submitted depend on the requirements of the individual case.
The youth welfare office is responsible for financing educational assistance.
In the case of assistance for young adults in an inpatient or semi-stationary form, they can be called upon. The cost bearer decides on a case-by-case basis whether to involve the adult.
