For example, would you like to trade in plant protection products? Then you must notify us in writing before you start your business.
Plant protection products are intended in particular to protect cultivated crops such as cereals, potatoes, fruit or vegetables from pests. Trade in plant protection products (placing on the market or importing) must be reported to the authorities. This notification must be made separately for the company headquarters as well as for each branch located in Rhineland-Palatinate.
In addition to the written notification, the following documents must be submitted:
- Copy of certificate of competence
- Proof of further training, if applicable
The notification must be made prior to commencement of the activity. Changes to the legally required information must be reported immediately.
