Architektenliste Registrierung ausländische Kapitalgesellschaft beantragen

If you are an external service provider in the form of a corporation, you have the option of registering it in the list of external professional companies at the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Architects.

Corporations that have neither their registered office nor a branch office in Rhineland-Palatinate may use the professional title "architect", "interior architect", "landscape architect" or "urban planner" without being entered in the register of companies if they are permitted to use this or a comparable professional title on the basis of a statutory regulation of the state in which their registered office or branch office is located (foreign professional companies).

If they are not entered in a register of companies in Germany, they must notify the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Architects in advance if they wish to carry out the activities specified in the Architects Act in Rhineland-Palatinate for the first time. The Chamber of Architects lists them in the directory for foreign professional societies.

• A certificate stating that you or the professionals holding a share in the company's capital and authorized to manage the company are legally exercising the relevant activity in the country where you have your registered office or branch office
• The partnership agreement or articles of association that meet the relevant requirements
• Proof of professional liability insurance

Corporations that have neither their registered office nor a branch office in Rhineland-Palatinate may use the protected professional titles, word combinations thereof or similar designations without being entered in the company register if they are permitted to use these or a comparable professional title on the basis of a statutory regulation of the state in which they have their registered office or branch office (foreign professional companies).

The fees are based on the statutes of the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Architects.

The application is submitted to the Registration Committee of the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Architects for a decision. The registration committee is a body with judicial independence that checks whether the requirements for registration are met.

A decision on the application must be made within the shortest possible time, but in principle within three months of receipt of the complete supporting documents at the latest.

There should be at least three months between submitting the application and taking up the planned activity.

You have the option of lodging an appeal against the decision of the registration committee with the competent administrative court. The appeal period is one month from notification of the decision.
