Do you come from an EU country or a country with equivalent status under EU law and want to work as an inspection expert for technical systems in Rhineland-Palatinate? If so, you must notify us in advance of the commencement of your activities and provide the required evidence.

Persons who come from another member state of the European Union or a state treated as such under the law of the European Communities and who wish to carry out the work of a recognized inspection expert for technical installations in Rhineland-Palatinate must meet the requirements of Section 8 (3) and (4) of the State Ordinance on the Inspection of Technical Installations, provide the required evidence and must notify the recognition authority in advance of their first activity in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The notification must be accompanied by the required information and evidence in accordance with Section 5 and Section 8 (3) and (4) of the State Ordinance on the Inspection of Technical Installations (AnlPrüfVO).

In order to be allowed to report an activity in Rhineland-Palatinate, the requirements of Section 8 (3) and (4) of the State Ordinance on the Inspection of Technical Installations (AnlPrüfVO) must be met. In addition, persons must fulfill requirements comparable to the requirements of § 4 of the state ordinance in accordance with § 8 para. 4 of the state ordinance.

Fees in accordance with No. 3.4.5 of the Special List of Fees dated January 9, 2007 (GVBl. p. 22), as amended, in the current amount of EUR 50.00 to EUR 500.00 will be charged for the review of the notification.

Notification of the commencement of work as an inspection expert or inspection expert for technical installations must be submitted to the recognition authority in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The required evidence in accordance with Section 8 (3) and (4) of the State Ordinance on the Inspection of Technical Installations must be enclosed with the notification. The recognition authority checks the evidence and certifies that the requirements regarding proof of knowledge and the field of activity as well as the requirements of § 4 have been met.

The activity as an inspection expert or inspection expert for technical installations may only be carried out once the certificates from the recognition authority have been submitted.

The notification must be made before the first activity in Rhineland-Palatinate.

For persons pursuant to Section 8 (3) and (4) of the State Ordinance on the Inspection of Technical Installations, evidence of the inspection must be submitted to the recognition authority. The latter shall examine the documents and, upon request, certify the equivalence and the recognition requirements.

Notifications and certificates in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4 are not required if a notification has already been made or a certificate issued in another state of the Federal Republic of Germany.
