Do you come from an EU country or a country with equivalent EU law status and want to work as an inspection expert for earthworks and foundation engineering in Rhineland-Palatinate? If so, you must notify us in advance of the commencement of your activities and provide the required evidence.

Persons who come from another member state of the European Union or a state treated as such under the law of the European Communities and who wish to work as a recognized expert for earthworks and foundation engineering in Rhineland-Palatinate must meet the requirements of Section 6 (3) and (4) of the State Ordinance on Experts for Earthworks and Foundation Engineering (SEGBauVO), provide the evidence required therein and notify the recognition authority in advance of their first activity in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The notification must be accompanied by the required information and evidence in accordance with Section 2 and Section 6 (3) and (4) of the State Ordinance on Experts for Earthworks and Foundation Engineering (SEGBauVO).

In order to be allowed to report an activity in Rhineland-Palatinate, the requirements of Section 6 (3) and (4) of the State Ordinance on Experts for Earthworks and Foundation Engineering (SEGBauVO) must be met. In addition, persons according to § 6 para. 3 and para. 4 SEGBauVO must fulfill requirements comparable to the requirements of § 2 SEGBauVO.

Fees in accordance with No. 3.4.5 of the Special List of Fees dated January 9, 2007 (GVBl. p. 22), as amended, in the current amount of EUR 50.00 to EUR 500.00 will be charged for the review of the notification.

Notification of the commencement of work as an expert for earthworks and foundation engineering must be submitted to the recognition authority in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The required evidence in accordance with Section 6 (3) and (4) of the State Ordinance on Experts for Earthworks and Foundation Engineering (SEGBauVO) must be enclosed with the notification.

The accreditation authority checks the evidence and certifies that it meets the requirements with regard to proof of knowledge and the specific field of activity as well as the requirements of § 2 SEGBauVO.

The activity as an expert may only be carried out after submission of the certificates from the recognition authority.

The notification must be made before the first activity in Rhineland-Palatinate.

For persons pursuant to Section 6 (3) and (4) of the State Ordinance on Experts for Earthworks and Foundation Engineering (SEGBauVO), the evidence must be submitted to the recognition authority for examination. The authority shall examine the documents and, upon request, certify the equivalence and the requirements for recognition.

Notifications and certificates in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4 are not required if a notification has already been made or a certificate has already been issued in another country of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Action under the Administrative Court Code.

Notification of the commencement of work as an expert for earthworks and foundation engineering must be submitted to the Ministry of Finance as the highest building supervisory authority.

Notification of commencement of work as an inspection expert or inspection expert for technical installations in Rhineland-Palatinate must be submitted informally to the recognition authority.
