Do you come from an EU country or a country with equivalent status under EU law and want to work as an inspection expert for stability in Rhineland-Palatinate? If so, you must notify us in advance of the commencement of your activities and provide the required evidence.

Persons who come from another member state of the European Union or a state treated as such under the law of the European Communities and who wish to perform the work of a recognized inspection expert for stability in Rhineland-Palatinate must meet the requirements of § 7a para.2 and para. 3 of the State Ordinance on Inspection Experts for Structural Stability (PrüfSStBauVO), provide the evidence required therein and notify the recognition authority in advance of their first activity in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The notification must be accompanied by the required information and evidence in accordance with Section 3 and Section 7a (2) and (3) of the State Ordinance on Stability Testing Experts (PrüfSStBauVO).

In order to be allowed to report an activity in Rhineland-Palatinate, the requirements of Section 7a (2) and (3) of the State Ordinance on Inspection Experts for Structural Safety (PrüfSStBauVO) must be met. In addition, persons according to § 7 para. 3 and para. 3 PrüfSStBauVO must fulfill requirements comparable to the requirements of § 3 PrüfSStBauVO.

Fees of up to EUR 100.00 are incurred for the review of the notification in accordance with Section 7a (2) of the State Ordinance on Inspection Experts for Structural Stability (PrüfSStBauVO) in accordance with Section 14 (6), as amended.

The Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Engineers must be notified of the commencement of work as a test expert for stability.

The required evidence in accordance with Section 7a (2) and (3) of the State Ordinance on Inspection Experts for Structural Safety (PrüfSStBauVO) must be enclosed with the notification.

The Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Engineers checks the certificates and certifies that they meet the requirements with regard to proof of knowledge and the specific field of activity as well as the requirements of § 3 PrüfSStBauVO.

Only after submission of the certificates from the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Engineers may the activity as a test expert for stability be carried out.

The notification must always be made before the first activity in Rhineland-Palatinate.

For persons pursuant to Section 7a (2) and (3) of the State Ordinance on Inspection Experts for Structural Stability (PrüfSStBauVO), the certificates must be submitted to the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Engineers for examination. The Chamber will examine the documents and, upon request, certify the equivalence and the requirements for recognition.

Notifications and certificates in accordance with paragraphs 2 and 3 are not required if a notification has already been made or a certificate has already been issued in another state of the Federal Republic of Germany.
