Parties, groups of voters and other supporters of election proposals may receive the following information on persons entitled to vote from the population register in the 6 months prior to elections and votes at state and municipal level in connection with parliamentary and municipal elections:
- First and last names,
- Doctoral degree,
- current address.
If the person in question is deceased, this will be communicated.
The information is only possible in the 6 months prior to an election.
This data may only be used for advertising in an election or vote and must be deleted or destroyed no later than one month after the election or vote.
The registration authority cannot provide any information if an information block exists or a blocking note has been entered in the register of residents. Furthermore, every data subject has the option of objecting to the transmission of their data.
