The establishment/start-up, expansion, modernization and equipping of an integration project can be funded by the Integration Office. Integration projects serve the permanent employment and professional qualification of severely disabled people on the general labor market whose integration into other employment on the general labor market encounters particular difficulties due to the nature and severity of the disability or due to other circumstances despite exhausting all funding options and the use of integration specialist services.

Informal application.

Employment of severely disabled people, among others:

• with a mental or psychological disability or with a severe physical, sensory or multiple disability that has a particularly detrimental effect on working life and, alone or together with other circumstances that hinder placement, makes it difficult or impossible to participate in the general labor market outside of an inclusive company,
• who, after targeted preparation in a workshop for people with disabilities or in a psychiatric facility, are eligible for transition to a company or a position on the general labor market and are to be prepared for this transition,
• after completing school education, who only have prospects of employment on the general labor market if they have previously participated in vocational training measures in an inclusive company and are employed and further qualified there, and

Funding for the construction, expansion, modernization and equipping of integration projects is only provided for measures that have not yet begun.
