Berufsbildende Schulen: Berufliches Gymnasium anmelden

In three years, the vocational grammar school leads to the general university entrance qualification as a grammar school upper level in the following disciplines:

• Health and social affairs
• Technology (with a focus on civil engineering, electrical engineering, design and media technology, metal technology, environmental technology)
• Economy

It differs from the general secondary schools in that it is a particularly attractive offer for graduates with the qualified lower secondary school leaving certificate I (mittlerer Schulabschluss) consisting only of the upper level (grades 11 – 13).

In addition to the ability to study at each university, the educational mission consists in particular in imparting job-oriented specialist knowledge, contributing to the personality development of the pupils, qualifying them for networked thinking, value-oriented behaviour and responsible participation in shaping public life.

- Certified half-year certificate of class 10 or graduation certificate
- Copy of the birth certificate
- current registration certificate from the Residents' Registration Office
- Residence permit (copy) for non-EU citizens
- informal application and certified evidence of the items "hardship aspects" or "services rendered"

Latest deadline for submission of the documents: 1 March of each year (cut-off period) at the respective school.

The information brochure "Das berufliche Gymnasium" contains everything worth knowing for pupils, parents and teachers.

In the event of rejection, opposition proceedings may be initiated.
