Every training company must conclude a vocational training contract with its apprentices and submit this to the Chamber of Crafts (HWK) for examination and entry in the apprenticeship register. Apprenticeship relationships entered in the apprenticeship register(register of vocational training relationships) are a prerequisite for taking qualified examinations (e.g. journeyman's certificate).

• A medical certificate must be submitted for trainees who are not of legal age
  
• The vocational training contract must be signed by all parties to the contract on each copy of the contract and the application (company owner, trainer, trainee, legal guardian for young people under 18 years of age)
  
• If the training period is shortened, enclose the relevant certificates
  
• If applicable, enclose a copy of the leaving certificate from a basic vocational school or vocational college
  
• Personal and professional suitability and suitability of the training center for hiring and training

Examination and registration of the training contract are administrative activities whose costs are not already covered by the Chamber of Crafts contribution. are not already covered by the Chamber of Crafts fee.

The Chamber of Skilled Crafts therefore charges a registration fee for this.
