A company is authorized to affix the repairer's mark to calibrated measuring instruments under the conditions of the Measuring and Calibration Ordinance (MessEV) for the purpose of maintaining the calibration period and, if necessary, to replace removed security marks with the security mark of the repairer.
Applications and forms for authorization as a repair company can be found on the website of the State Office of Metrology and Verification.
Fees are charged in accordance with the Measurement and Calibration Fees Ordinance (MessEGebV) based on the work involved.
