If this vaccination was publicly recommended, ordered or prescribed by law or carried out on the basis of international health regulations, you will receive compensation for the health and economic consequences of the vaccination damage on application in accordance with the legal basis.

Compensation can be paid in the form of a monthly pension. Depending on the established degree of damage (GdS), the pension includes

• non-income-related benefits, such as monthly compensation payments, severely disabled person's allowance and
• income-related benefits, such as compensation for occupational injury.

Survivors' benefits for widows, widowers, orphans and parents are also regulated. There is also the possibility of the assumption of costs in the event of a need for care due to injury and in the event of a stay in a home, as well as the payment of a funeral allowance. Other benefits include rapid assistance, medical treatment, participation benefits and the provision of aids if the requirements are met.

In principle, there are no deadlines to be observed. In order to receive care from the onset of the injury, the application must be submitted within one year of the vaccination.

The appeal authority is the Thuringian State Administration Office, Department 600.
