Do you need maps for leisure, planning or research projects? The Thuringian State Office for Soil Management and Geoinformation (TLBG) publishes the official topographical maps for the territory of the Free State of Thuringia. The state map series for Thuringia are published at scales ranging from 1:10,000 (large scale) to 1:100,000 (small scale). The larger the scale, the more detailed the depiction of the features on the map and the more map sheets are produced. The selection of available map sheets (KB) amounts to 535 KB at a scale of 1:10,000, 128 KB at a scale of 1:25,000, 31 KB at a scale of 1:50,000 and 9 KB at a scale of 1:100,000. In addition, further topographical overview maps are published at a smaller scale of 1:250,000, covering the territory of the Free State. The topographic maps at various scales form the basis of a large number of thematic general maps that are produced and made available by the TLBG.
