The Petitions Committee formed by the Thuringian State Parliament decides on the civil requests and complaints submitted to it, the so-called petitions.
Everyone has the right to address requests or complaints to the competent bodies and to the people's representation. These requests and complaints are called petitions or submissions.
ThePetitions Committee formed by the Landtag decides on petitions addressed to theThuringianLandtag. It examines the petitions on the merits if the person or body at whose conduct the petition is directed performs public duties and is subject to the supervision of the Free State of Thuringia.Petitions can be submitted inwritingororally. Anyone wishing to present their concerns in person can use the Petitions Committee's citizens' consultation hours or arrange an appointment with the state parliament administration.
