Before submitting a building application, it is possible, at the request of the client, to clarify individual questions relating to a subsequent building permit procedure in a binding and final manner by means of a preliminary building inquiry.

A preliminary building inquiry is useful, for example, if it is unclear whether a property can be built on at all in accordance with the applicable building planning law or whether deviations from individual building code requirements can be permitted.

A preliminary building inquiry can save financial expenditure, as not all of the documents required for a building permit are necessary.

In addition, the building owner receives planning certainty at an early stage regarding the buildability of a property or the permissibility of deviations.
