InnoInvest beantragen

The InnoInvest program is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Funding is provided for innovative investments in tangible and intangible assets. The funding amounts to up to EUR 50,000.

The Free State of Thuringia supports small and medium-sized companies with innovative investments in tangible and intangible assets.

They receive funding in the following areas

• Acquisitions of capitalized and operationally used tangible and intangible assets,
• Services in connection with the acquisition of intangible or tangible assets.

Funding is available for investment projects that lead to innovation, at least for the company.

The investment project must be either:

• a new production process that leads to competitive and future-relevant new products/services, or
• a process innovation that optimizes established products or makes them more cost-effective or resource-efficient, or
• a new business model or new organizational process/structure that increases the company's performance/productivity,

Contributions to the digitalization of the company can also be funded, provided they fit in with the points of the innovation projects.

You will receive the funding as a grant:

• for expenditure of EUR 30,000 to EUR 50,000, you will receive a grant of EUR 10,000
• for expenditure of EUR 50,000.01 to EUR 100,000, you will receive a grant of EUR 20,000
• for expenditure of EUR 100,000.01 to EUR 150,000, you will receive a grant of EUR 30,000
• for expenditure of EUR 150,000.01 to EUR 200,000, you will receive a grant of EUR 40,000
• for expenditure of EUR 200,000.01 to EUR 250,000, you will receive a grant of EUR 50,000

Expenditure excluded from the grant includes

• Purchase of land and real estate,
• Own work,
• Assets that are financed through leasing, installment plan or supplier loans,
• training, further training, stock and consumables and
• Value-added tax if the company is entitled to deduct input tax.

The grant is awarded on application.
Applications for a grant must be submitted electronically to the Thüringer Aufbaubank (TAB) via the online portal https://thueringer-foerderportal.eu using the forms provided. In addition, the written application must be submitted to the TAB, unless the electronic form replaces the written form.
The following documents must be submitted with the application:

• Investment and financing plan
• Confirmation of through-financing/declaration of readiness from the applicant's bank or tax advisor
• De minimis declaration
• SME assessment
• "Explanatory notes on the project" form
• Offers (at least 3 comparable offers for each asset)
• Business registration
• Financing agreements, franchise agreements, if applicable
• for start-ups:
  • Concept showing why the start-up is considered innovative and differs from other companies in the same sector
  • Curriculum vitae of the founding partners
  • Statement from the relevant chamber to prove the viability of the company
    

Eligible are:

• Small and medium-sized commercial enterprises
• freelancers working in business-related and/or creative industries

Funding is subject to certain conditions:

• The business activity must be geared towards a viable full existence and be expected to achieve sustainable economic success.
• The eligible investment amount of the project must not be less than EUR 30,000.
• The project must be fully implemented in the period from 01.01.2021 to 31.12.2029.
