If you are a producer of agricultural products and want to join forces and take advantage of explicit funding opportunities, you can apply for recognition as an agricultural organization.

If you are several producers of agricultural products and would like to form a producer group, you can apply for recognition as a producer organization.

• valid articles of association or shareholders' agreement
• Minutes of the inaugural meeting
• extract from the register or, in the case of associations of persons not eligible for registration, a certified copy of the contract on the formation or conferral of legal capacity ) in the case of a business association
• a complete list of the current status of the members (surname, first name, in the case of legal entities surname, address), production (products and production volume by value and quantity for the last 3 years), estimated gross production if applicable
• Affidavit from each member stating that he/she is an active primary producer or processing company with regard to the product area(s) applied for and that he/she is only a member of this agricultural organization or other agricultural organizations
• Description of the agricultural organization (organization, structure, tasks, [in particular description of the marketing of members' products, stipulations on tendering], transfer of tasks of your agricultural organization to third parties)
• Description of the goals of your agricultural organization, concept of the goals you want to achieve, business plan (development strategy for the next 5 years)

• at least five founding members must have joined together to form a legal entity under private law or public law or an association of persons under private law
• The headquarters of your agricultural organization and its members must be in Thuringia
• The overall activity of your agricultural organization should not be insignificant compared to the overall activity of the members in a common product area
• Your agricultural organization must have statutes that comply with professional law, including all prescribed content and regulations
• You must pursue at least one of the following specified objectives in whole or in part:
  • Ensuring planned production that meets demand, particularly in terms of quantity and quality,
  • bundling supply and marketing the production of its members or
  • reducing production costs and stabilizing producer prices.

You can lodge an appeal against the decision with the Thuringian State Office for Agriculture and Rural Areas in Jena or one of its branch offices within one month of notification.

• Association of producer organizations Recognition
• Recognition of agricultural organizations must be applied for from the competent authority
• Prerequisites:
  • at least five founding members must have formed a legal entity under private law or public law or an association of persons under private law
  • The headquarters of your agricultural organization and its members must be in Thuringia
  • The overall activity of your agricultural organization should not be insignificant compared to the overall activity of the members in a common product area
  • Your agricultural organization must have statutes that comply with professional law, including all prescribed content and regulations
  • You must pursue at least one of the following specified objectives in whole or in part:
    • Ensuring planned production that meets demand, particularly in terms of quantity and quality,
    • bundling supply and marketing the production of its members or
    • reducing production costs and stabilizing producer prices.

  • a complete list of the current status of the members (surname, first name, in the case of legal entities surname, address), production (products and production volume by value and quantity for the last 3 years), estimated gross production if applicable
  • Affidavit from each member stating that he/she is an active primary producer or processing company with regard to the product area(s) applied for and that he/she is only a member of this agricultural organization or other agricultural organizations

  • Presentation of the goals of your agricultural organization, concept of the goals you want to achieve, business plan (development strategy for the next 5 years)
