Before quality wine, sparkling wine and semi-sparkling wine can be marketed, it must be tested with regard to its sensory and analytical properties. Quality wine, sparkling wine and semi-sparkling wine may only be marketed after passing the test. In order to be approved for testing, the company requires a company number.

Completed application

There must be a wine-growing business that wants to market quality wine.

There are no fees.

The application must be completed and submitted to the Office for Agriculture, Land Consolidation and Forestry (ALFF) South in Weißenfels. Once the application has been processed, you will receive a notification with the farm number, which must be quoted for all inspections and vineyard declarations.

A company number must be applied for before the wine inspection. The wine can only be approved for quality testing later on if it has a company number.
